Ingredients
5-10 carrots, cut into coins
2 Tablespoons butter
Salt

Directions
1. Wash hands with soap and water.
2. Rinse fresh vegetables under running water before preparing.
3. Cut carrots into coins. Add carrots to a sauce pan and add enough water so they are just barely covered.
4. Cover and cook on medium for about 10 minutes until the carrots are tender (do not over cook!)
5. Remove carrots from pot. Turn the stove up to high and boil off some of the remaining water in the pot.
6. Once the water is reduced a bit, add the butter and cook on medium high until a slightly thickened sauce comes together.
7. Reduce heat to a simmer and add the carrots back to the pot along with some salt. Toss the carrots in the butter sauce to reheat. This makes a sweet and buttery sauce for the carrots. Serve and enjoy!
