The My Neighbor to Love Coalition is a nonprofit with the ambitious goal of ending homelessness in the Brainerd Lakes area – and they are well on their way with a 4-plex built in 2024 and 12-plex in 2025. Both complexes have raised garden beds, that give residents the ability to grow their own food. Crow Wing Master Gardener Volunteers host educational planting days, getting the gardens off to a strong start and sharing best practices with residents beginning, or restarting, their gardening journey.
